The reason I typed that up is because I'm going to try and blog again regularly. I went on the other day for the first time in a very long time and caught up on a bunch of blogs I follow. I can't remember why I stopped doing this, it's fun! :]
259 + 149 = 408 blogs Wow, that's a lot.
Let's get the basics out of the way.
What's going on with the whole situation with my mom? It's been a very difficult almost two months for me. Currently, I have zero contact with her and that's the way I want it. She's a pathological liar, Jim is not a good influence and she was honestly just holding me back in so many ways. The verbal and physical abuse added, not so fun. Life was almost not worth living anymore, I heading towards ~the great depression~ again. I could see the signs. But, luckily, I got out with the help of my amazing friends and family. My mom and Jim went to court with Megan's mom, Libby and Josh's mom, Julia. We were victorious, no surprise at all. Fun fact: Jim stated that my birthday was in May. Good job. So, the threats, lies and etc continued. I was living with my dad for my "one month summer vacation". When that was over, I had no intention of going back. I called my mom, explained, she was livid/back to her manipulation, I pretty much told her to fuck off and never to contact me again. She promised. Once they divorce (inevitable), I'm going to wait about 5 years then try and talk to her again. That means I have about 8 -13 years before we will speak again. :] I'm not sad about this. I only miss my pets (and my laptop cord, ugg boots, winter coats, scarves and books).
What are your plans for school? 1. My mom sabotaged my chances of going to school in the fall. 2. Once I tried to rectify this, it was too late. 3. The majority of my summer was either in "prison", in hiding, crying and dealing with this problem. It made sense to give myself a real summer. That means, I'm starting winter quarter at TCC. Placement tests are done, tuition is ready, I just have to sign up for classes at the end of November. I'm going to be in school during summer too to make up for my late start. I'm planning on doing the whole AA~ deal, then transferring to wherever the wind may blow me. (lolz)
Job? I've been at Starbucks for about 3 months now and I'm absolutely loving it. It stresses me out a lot, but I can deal with it. I really enjoy working and seeing it pay off. I work about 5 days a weekish, it depends. I plan on working during school too.
Woahz yooh drive? Ya ya. I love my spooky little teal car. Normally it's overflowing with drinks from work and clothes, but I still love it. Even though I got my license on July 13th, my mom didn't let me drive. I only started driving on July 30th. But, I surprisingly have a great sense of direction and have conquered Tacoma, Seattle, Lacey, Puyallup and inbetween in the past month and a half. :]
Hmm, what else is new... I have a new cell phone? My mom immediately turned it off when I left the first time, then took it from me. But now I have the same exact phone I had before and a new number. Oh and I got to redecorate a brand new room, that's fun. I've also been trying out baking recently.
